On the way to the Greenwood Conservation Area, keep an eye out for the Deer Creek Golf Club. Ajax is home to four fantastic golf courses, with Deer Creek Golf Club being the largest. The hole North Course is one of Ontario’s most elite public golf courses, with just the right balance of challenge and reward.  

If you want to test your limits, the nearby city of Pickering has entertainment of a different sort: Backyard Axe Throwing League. Visitors come from all around the Durham region to learn from the best and spend an hour throwing axes. It’s that simple, and it is that much fun. Try it out for an hour, and do not be surprised if you end up signing on for the regular league competitions.

Celebrate your winnings at Pickering Town Centre, an extensive shopping mall with over stores.
