best casinos near st louis

While St. Louis is nothing like Las Vegas, you don’t have to leave the Midwest to find a high-quality casino.

In fact, Missouri has a strange gambling law stating that casinos must be on or near a body of water. Since St. Louis is right on the Mississippi, the metro area is home to a decent amount of top-notch casinos!

After consulting with some of my more experienced gambling friends and thinking about my past trips to local casinos, I’ve compiled this comprehensive list of the best casinos near St. Louis, Missouri.
