Hours of Operation: 
Hours of operation for each casino vary, based on the itinerary and location of the ship. Most casinos open shortly after sailing. Opening hours are posted outside of the casino, as well as in the Freestyle Daily.  Free gaming lessons are offered on every sailing for table games and slots.

Note:  Visitors can not board the ships to gamble.
 

Casino Operating Hours for Bermuda & Gibraltar Port of Calls:

  • Bermuda:  The Casino onboard will be open from 9pm to 5am while the ship is docked in Bermuda for Norwegian guests only. 
  • Gibraltar: The Casino onboard will reopen at 6pm when the ship is docked in Gibraltar for Norwegian guests only.


Player's Club:
With Norwegian's Casinos at Sea Players Club, players earn reward points based on their level of play. Points can be used while on their current cruise for anything from spa treatments to dinners to simply dollars off their final bill or a future cruise. The Players Club is available on all of Norwegian’s ships except Pride of America and is open for all guests to join.
 

Admission:
Guests must be at least 18 years (Europe sailings too) of age in order to gamble in the casino. Anyone that cannot provide proof of age on request will be politely asked to vacate the casino.


Attire:
Resort casual attire is recommended. Shirts and shoes are required.

Smoking:
Guests who are actively playing in the Casino may smoke cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and vapor smoking devices while in the Casino during gaming hours.

  • Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Encore have designated smoking rooms within the Casino. Guests who are actively playing in the designated Casino smoking room may smoke cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and vapor smoking devices while there during gaming hours.  


Currency:
Gaming tables and slot machines wagers are in U.S. currency only. Table games are played with casino chips, and slot machines may accept U.S. bills or Norwegian tickets. Cash may be exchanged for gaming chips at the gaming tables. Tokens may be purchased at the casino cashier. At the conclusion of play, chips and tokens may be redeemed for cash/checks with the Casino cashier.

Cash Advance:
There is a3% convenience charge for all casino cash advances to all sailings that start and end in the U.S. except for Hawaii.

Gaming Vouchers & Chips:
Important Notice: As of September 1, , Norwegian Joy Chinese Series table game chips have been expired. Gaming Vouchers and Table Game Chips will only be redeemable onboard the ship during the current cruise. Gaming Vouchers may be redeemed at any slot machine, designated cashier location or ticket redemption location onboard the ship. All tickets will be voided at cruise end and will not be refunded.

WIN/LOSS Statement:
Win/Loss statement will be available after January 31, Click on the File top right for the Win/Loss Statement Request Form.
 
Effective January 24th, , Win/Loss requests have been automated. Only Gaming Statements for and later can be obtained using the automated process. On or after this date, please log into your Customer Account or visit thisisnl.nl The new process will be as follows: 
 

Request Instructions:

  • The user must log into their MyNCL Account Profile on thisisnl.nl and navigate to My Account page
  • Once on the My Account page, click on the Request Win / Loss Statement on the left pane under My Profile to request the Win / Loss statement
  • Once the link for the Win / Loss statement has been accessed, a pop-up window will load in browser
  • The required information must be filled out, once complete the user must hit submit
  • An activation code will be sent to the phone number provided, requiring a prompt response

For shared households, please bear in mind Win/Loss Statements are per player, and must be accessed from each guest’s individual MyNCL account. For assistance with accessing MyNCL, please contact Digital Guest Experience.
