Poker Tournaments in Benalmadena

Those who are looking for poker in Malaga will find in the Casino of Torrequebrada in Benalmadena an extensive program that includes weekly tournaments throughout the year.

There are poker matches at the casino on Mondays and Thursdays at pm, at pm during the summer. Special tournaments can be scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The capacity is usually 60 or 70 players and the buy price 30 €, 50 € or € depending on the tournament.

Let’s take a look at the basic rules of poker, from lowest to highest best hand and the probability of getting them considering the number of combinations:

  • High card: The winner is the one who has the highest card of all.
    The chance of getting the highest card is 50%.
    In Spanish: Carta más alta.
  • One Pair: Two cards with the same number or letter and three different ones.
    The probability of having a pair is 42 %.
    In Spanish: Pareja.
  • Two Pair: Same as the pair, but doubled.
    The probability of having a couple is %.

  • Three of a Kind: Three of one card and two non-paired cards.
    The probability is %.
    In Spanish: Trio.
  • Straight: 5 consecutive cards regardless of the suit.

  • Flush: Five cards of the same suit regardless of whether they are consecutive.
