The two in-form Italian sides meet as Bologna hosts Inter. Bologna is having the best season ever and, after a temporary slump in December, is back on winning track and then some. Bologna won six straight, including the most recent away win at Atalanta, an away win at Lazio, and a home win against Fiorentina. Bologna hasn't scored less than twice in any of those games and is on the fourth spot that would lead them to the Champions League.

This team wins through energy and team effort, which is incidentally the only thing that Inter could be having problems with. We can't say that Bologna is on the level that could jeopardize Inter, but this is a side that stands a chance. Probably the only one in the league at the moment, as all Juventus could do is valiantly bow down with a 0-1 defeat.

Inter Milan

Inter is, of course, in an unprecedented series of wins that we haven't seen even in best days of Bayern in Germany. This side won all 12 matches they've played this year, including a 1-0 home win against Atletico in the Champions League, and doesn't make a difference between top sides and relegation candidates.

Last week we had a bet on Inter to beat Genoa at home with a -2.5 handicap, but after a 2-0 half time lead they didn't bother to score the third, and it was instead Genoa who scored for 2-1.

In this game there will be zero complacency, Inter will run out determined to win yet again, though it's possible that the main player Lautaro Martinez might be rested. That's the announcement at least by the Italian press, but we haven't really seen Inzaghi rest Lautaro in a high-profile game yet this season.

Probable Lineups

Bologna (4-1-4-1):Skorupski - Posch, Beukema, Calafiori, Kristiansen - Freuler - Orsolini, Ferguson, Fabbian, Saelemaekers - Zirkzee. Coach Motta.

Inter (3-5-2):Sommer - Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni - Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto - Sanchez, Martinez. Coach S.Inzaghi.

For Bologna, Ndoye could replace Orsolini in the starting lineup, which is a big thing as Motta rarely or never changes his team unless he has to.

In Inter's team we'll see the standard rotation on the wings as Darmian and Carlos Augusto replace Dumfries and Dimarco. Calhanoglu returns to the lineup, and the starting offensive duo will likely be Arnautovic and the newly recovered Thuram as Lautaro gets some rest.

The Betting Verdict

The options to cautiously bet on Bologna but not actually bet on them to get a point or three are really limited here. You might want to bet on a Double Chance Bologna or Draw, and you'd get 1.70 for that, but again, an Inter win at 2.14 is the more likely outcome of the two and is therefore a better bet.

We have a hunch Bologna might be a rare team to steal points off Inter this season, and the only bet that brushes on this but still lets us win even if Inter takes the points is BTTS. Bologna should at least do what few teams manage to, and that is to breach the Acerbi-led back line.

On the other end, Inter will score, that's a certainty every week. So BTTS it is.
