Ten pin bowling offers affordable family fun at our world class bowling venue at GrandWest. With its special glow-in-the-dark features, bowling shoes, tables and carpets come alive, enhancing the already vibrant atmosphere and funky music. Feel free to ask the Help Desk to switch over to Cosmic Lighting – the kids love this! Everything glows in the dark!
So, how does the scoring work? It’s easier than you think! Players keep score by adding the number of pins knocked down in each frame while special bonuses are awarded for strikes and spares (leftover pins). When a strike is bowled, the bowler is awarded a score of 10 (for knocking down all 10 pins), plus he/she gets to add the total of the next two rolls to that frame.
Fun Fact
A ‘golden turkey’ is achieved when a player bowls nine strikes in a row.
