Century Casino is one of two Central City, Colorado casinos with table games. It has a large slot floor, a video poker bar, a separate video poker room, a hotel, and two restaurants. It is open 24 hours a day. There are about 430 slot and video poker machines and seven table games.  Century Casino has a sister property in Cripple Creek.

Century Casino

The Century Casino in Central City offers a variety of slots, video poker, video keno, live table games, and electronic table games. The slots range from older titles and reels to modern slots. 

Table games

There are seven table games at Century Casino. Tables open at 10am Thursday through Sunday and 11am Monday through Wednesday.

Blackjack is open daily. It has $5 to $300 betting limits. The game uses six decks. Players may double down before and after splitting. The dealer stands on all 17’s. Double Up Blackjack is available with the same limits. Three Card Poker is $5 to $100.

During our October 2021 visit, we found video versions of blackjack, craps, and roulette. Craps has a minimum bet of $1. Blackjack and roulette have a $2 minimum. Blackjack pays 3:2. It has a $430 maximum bet. Craps and roulette both have a max bet of $1,000.

Video poker

Most video poker machines are located towards the exit on the second level. The selection includes a variety of denominations of single line, three, five, and ten play, Ultimate X, Spin Poker, and Chase the Royal. The denominations for multi-hand games are nickel, dime, and quarter. The single line video poker games are quarter, half-dollar, and dollar. Some of the games offer progressives.

There is a selection of quality video poker games at Century Casino. The best is 8/5 Bonus Poker. It is dealt in half-dollar and dollar denominations. The dollar has a progressive. This game is available in the video poker room and at the bar. These same machines have a Deuces Wild game with a similar return. There is a $1 progressive 9/6 Double Double Bonus bank in the video poker room.

Century Casino sportsbook

Century Casino has two sportsbook partners. Mobile sports betting accounts can be made through Nevada’s Circa Sports or Tipico Sportsbook. The apps are available to anyone 21 years or older in Colorado. 

Winners’ Zone players club

Winners’ Zone players club is used at Century Casino in Central City. One point is earned for every $1 wagered on slots and every $2 wagered on video poker or electronic table games.

Points may be redeemed for free play or food comps. A dollar in free play is redeemable for 200 points. A dollar in food comps requires 400 points. Additional tier rewards include free play, hotel discounts, and promotional offers.

Winners’ Zone players club tiers

To earn a higher tier, a minimum number of base points are needed in a rolling 180-day period. Base points do not include points earned using a promotional multiplier.

Dining and drinks at Century Casino

There are two dining options and a bar at Century Casino Central City. Both restaurants are located on the lower level. Minors are permitted to dine when accompanied by an adult. The Celebrations bar is open 24 hours. Serving cocktails, beer, and wine with video poker available.

Retro Deli and Tavern serves quick bites. Menu items include sandwiches, pizza, noodle bowls, burgers, wings, snacks, and ice cream. Coffee is available starting at 8am.

Mid City Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast here features pancakes, French toast, omelets, and a breakfast sandwich. The main menu includes hot sandwiches, burgers, pasta, prime rib, fish entrees, and burritos.

Century Casino Hotel

All 26 nonsmoking rooms at Century Casino Central City include TV, wireless internet, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, alarm clock, and in-room safe. Four room types are offered: King, Double Queen, Mini Suite, and Suite.

A king room accommodates two guests while the double queen room and suites accommodate four guests. The double queen room is also available as an ADA-accessible room. Mini suites provide additional space with seating. Two unique suites are available each including extra space with lounge areas. Suite options include either a jetted tub or a fireplace which needs to be requested upon reservation.
