This former 16th century military fort, called « Fort Carré », is now a listed monument because of its remarkable architecture and preserved natural environment. The fort is the last bastion of Antibes, on the coast road heading to Nice. Sitting on the Saint-Roch peninsula, it is built on a rocky outcrop, 26 meters above sea level.
