Aug S!lk Presents Conducta

UK garage and hip-hop DJ Conducta takes over the decks at Dada this weekend. The producer is known for being a master remixer, and also heads his own label Kiwi Records. Support by Puzzy Stack, Negative and more.

Aug  Jing-A Dongsi Taproom Soft Opening

Jing-A’s brand-new taproom is up and running in the renovated Longfusi compound near Dongsi subway station. It's currently operating in soft opening mode starting from this Friday, with the grand opening set for the end of next week. Swing by to try out the new food menu, devised by Executive Chef Simone Thompson, featuring a range of inventive thin-crust sourdough pizzas like the Big Island BBQ with roast pork and fermented pineapple, and the Yunnan Mushroom, loaded generously with mixed mushrooms and Yunnan truffle. Jing-A will also be releasing their Watermelon Xanadu –a sour beer with fresh-pressed watermelon juice.

Aug  fRUITYSHOP Presents Summerlight @ El Nido

Local record store fRUITYSHOP takes over El Nido this Saturday for an all-vinyl set, spinning everything from jazz and funk to hip-hop and R&B. Before Saturday, stop by the hutong beer joint anytime this week for buy-two-get-one-free tacos from Taco Stop and RMB25 deals on select drafts. Also, starting on Sunday, you can look forward to a new tap takeover by Danish brewery Mikkeller at El Nido's sister bar Zhujingban.
