I watched the ending sorta but skimmed through it. Why is V in space at the very end? What the hell is he doing exactly? And why does it cut off before he gets there. I'm confused.

During the epilogue sequence, you arrive at The Afterlife and meet a client. His name is Mr. Blue Eyes (a secretive G-Man character that is referenced in at least one or two optional side quests in the game)

V and Mr. Blue Eyes discuss a heist. The heist is on a space station that doubles as a casino resort for the wealthy called The Crystal Palace.

V is then sent to space and the game ends right as V starts the heist on the space station

That's not the secret ending.

These are the endings where V has a choice to make:

-accept Arasaka's offer to remove the relic as well as Johnny
-call Panam and the Nomad calvary
-Johnny and Rogue take down Arasaka for good
-Johnny goes solo to take down Arasaka. This is the secret ending and will only be triggered if Johnny believes you are friends and not phony.

When you are facing the above choices, instead of making one, just sit there and wait for full 5 minutes and if your affinity with Johnny is high enough he will offer to take down Arasaka without risking anyone's life well, except yours since he is you after all.

Waiting for 5 mins and then letting Johnny suggest you take on Arasaka solo is just the first step in getting the secret mission which leads to an ending

And did you even read the OP? The OP isn't asking which choice to make to attack Arasaka tower, the OP is asking about one of the ending cutscenes

I explained the secret ending just as the TC asked. The difference between them is Rogue either lives or dies. In the secret ending she survives since Johnny does his solo suicide run into Arasaka Tower. Path of Glory is a shared ending between the two endings.

And since you already explained Mr Blue Eyes and the context around that, I didn't feel it necessary to reiterate what you mentioned.

Secret endings and secret missions are two very different things.

If you want to be technical, Cyberpunk has no secret endings.

Don't Fear the Reaper is a secret mission. That secret mission leads to a standard ending.
