What to Wear

Bonaire is laid-back and informal. Evening wear is typically casual. It is not permitted to remove any part of your swimwear on the beach or around resort pools.

Road Rules

On Bonaire, vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road and international traffic signals are used. Foreign and international driver's licenses are valid.

Drinking Water Safety

There is no need to purchase bottled water on Bonaire as the island’s water is pure and safe to drink.

Plug In

The current is V, 50 cycles, and most V and V devices will work on Bonaire. The island has a higher voltage than the US, so anything plugged in should be monitored.
