Casino Quarter is a district of Atlantic City in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic Cityupdate part one, Boardwalk Paradise. A section of the city under the control of the Lombardi Family, the quarter is home to Quentino's Night Club and the Neapolitan Casino.

Background[]

The heart of America's Playground, the Casino Quarter is among the most opulent destinations in the region, spared by the floods that wiped out most of Atlantic City after the Great War. The streets are now unnaturally humid and overgrown with mutant vegetation, though the major establishments such as Quentino's Night Club and the Lombardi Family's esteemed Neapolitan Casino are kept scrupulously clean and well-guarded.[1]

Layout[]

The Casino Quarter is an area of Atlantic City filled with high-rise buildings and an abundance of greenery overtaking some of its monorail cars, walkways and streets.

The Vertibird landing zone during Expeditions spawns the player character at a landing pad on top of a building in a corner of the Casino Quarter. A nearby stairwell leads down to the lobby of this building, where two Overgrown are always found, as well as two safes to loot in the elevator shaft. Following the western edge of the district leads to some tunnels where buses and vans have been abandoned.

The ground level of the quarter consists of the many winding urban roadways, where cars have been left to the elements. Billboard advertisements are plentiful, as are bus stops. The enemies that will be interspersed here include Overgrown and radrats. To the south is Quentino's Night Club, flanked by two large decorative saxophones and a Quentino's sign connecting them. Heading to the east, there is an elevated area that can be accessed via some white stairs further down the road, past a police robot fabricator. On the edge of this area, near Quentino's, is a hotel with out-of-service elevators on the western side, and a bar with a jukebox on the eastern side.

In the center of the quarter is a small plaza area with a round structure for a tree and shrubbery; it is also surrounded by benches around its circle. Along the eastern edge of the quarter is the Neapolitan Casino, easily recognized through its stark white archway entrance. Along the road where the casino is situated, there is a collapsed tunnel to the north past some turrets, while a truck trailer blocks the road to the south.

The upper walkways of the Casino Quarter follow along the city's monorail line, and many of the train cars can be accessed from these upper levels. Heading up from a large staircase near the starting building, by the Nuka-Cola Dark billboard, the southern path heads through an interim structure before ending at what was once a survivor's camp, with a sleeping bag and wooden crate. Heading east, one can access a train car or go south and down toward Quentino's. A Nuka-Cola billboard provides access to the roof of Quentino's, where two Lesser Devils and some more Overgrown lurk. The roof of Quentino's also leads to some balcony areas, but they do not connect elsewhere.

Other upper walkway areas include a section filled with benches, accessed by heading towards the Neapolitan from the Vertibird landing pad. Going down the stairs from there leads to the back of another monorail car, which has a small ramshackle wooden stair leading inside of it. Past this car, there is a covered bridge that would go into a side door of the Neapolitan, but the door is broken and inaccessible. The stairs there go back down to the area with the small hotel and bar.
