Restaurants in the Flamingo Las Vegas &#; The Complete Guide

As you walk along the Las Vegas Strip at night, it’s hard to ignore that giant neon pink glow illuminating the building known as the Flamingo Las Vegas. Steeped in Vegas’ rich and colorful history, the Flamingo is an iconic destination for tourists and locals alike. Located on the central strip of the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, the Flamingo is perfect for diners looking to grab something on the go, or have a sit down meal in a vintage steakhouse that takes you back to Old Vegas.

Before we get started with our list, I’ll share a pro-tip. The Flamingo is a part of Caesars Entertainment, so if you’re a Caesars Rewards member, you can earn points for dining. Membership is free. You can even pay for your meal or part of it if you have enough points. You can find more information here at Caesars Rewards.

Restaurants in the Flamingo

When considering which dining option to choose from at the Flamingo, I felt it would be helpful to categorize the restaurants so you can go with the best choice for your needs.

Fine Dining Restaurants in the Flamingo

There’s only one choice here but if you&#;re interested in Old Vegas, the Vegas Mob, really good steak, and Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lanksy you’re in luck. Sometimes having a lot of choices can be overwhelming so the Flamingo is perfect for you if you’re looking for a fine dining steakhouse experience in Las Vegas.

Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse

Do you have a fascination with history and a time gone by? Then this old school mob era steakhouse might be the perfect spot for you. What I really love about Bugsy & Meyer’s is their commitment to the classics. There’s no fusion or contemporary items to consider. High quality and premium steaks are their focus and passion.

The menu is elegantly prepared with fresh seafood options, soups and salads that compliment any steak you choose, and of course their private reserve collection of wet and dry aged beef. The wet aged steaks are aged for a minimum of 21 days and the dry aged steaks stay in the dry age cooler for 60 days. Both types of aged steaks are seasoned and slightly charred in a 1, degree broiler sealing in the juices and flavors.

The menu also includes a wide selection of enhancements, sauces, and sides that are perfect for accompanying your steak of choice. Be sure to leave some room for dessert as the Bugsy’s Baked Alaska is a must have.

The old fashioned beverage cart is a fun feature if you’re in the mood for a cocktail. This is an a la carte tableside service so you’ll be interacting with your mixologist. If you’re looking for some drinks before or after dinner, the Count Room might be the perfect speakeasy spot for you to explore a more intimate setting.

Menu highlights include Premium Seafood Tower, Oysters on the Half Shell, Crab Cake, Lobster Bisque, Butternut & Kale Salad, Wet Aged Prime Rib Eye Steak, Dry Aged Bone In New York Steak, Lobster Tail Enhancement, Alaskan King Crab Leg Enhancement, and Truffle Potato Puree.

Casual Sit Down Dining Options at the Flamingo

Las Vegas isn’t all about fine dining restaurants. There are so many incredible casual eateries all throughout the strip and the Flamingo has some of the best. Put on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and flip flops and head on over to Carlos N’ Charlie’s or Margaritaville in the Flamingo.

Carlos N’ Charlie’s Restaurant Las Vegas

A screenshot of the menu highlights and the bar of Carlos 'N Charlie's restaurant in the Flamingo Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

This Mexican bar and restaurant has some of the best south of the border dishes in town. Whether you’re in the mood for hot fajitas, mouth watering burritos, or crispy tacos Carlos N’ Charlie’s has it all. If you happen to be a spicy food fanatic, ask your waiter for the secret Habanero salsa. It’s not on the menu and if you try it, it’s at your own discretion! Don’t be surprised if they ask you if you’re sure you want to.

They serve breakfast in the mornings starting at AM and have a daily happy hour from &#; PM. The menu is huge and has every kind of Mexican dish you can think of. Although this restaurant is super family friendly, I’d advise leaving with the kids once the evening crowd starts to filter in as this place turns into an all out party at night.

The self described Patio Fiesta is staffed to the max with bartenders that put on quite the show. The sangrias, margaritas, and daiquiris are some of the main highlights when it comes to the drink menu if you’re considering a beverage.

Menu highlights include Fajitas Platter, Carne Asada Chimichanga, Charlie’s Bowl, Shrimp Tacos, Mexican Guacamole Burger, BBQ Chipotle Ribs, Huevos Rancheros, Jalapeno Poppers, Grilled Street Corn, Chimi Banana, and Fried Ice Cream.

Margaritaville Las Vegas

Margaritaville restaurant in the Flamingo Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

It’s truly the island life once you take one step into Margaritaville. This Caribbean themed restaurant is inspired by the music of Jimmy Buffet and embraces the Parrothead lifestyle. With multiple levels in the restaurant and two outdoor patios, there’s plenty of space to relax and vibe at this tropical paradise in the Las Vegas desert.

They serve breakfast in the mornings starting at AM and the menu has a variety of egg dishes, breakfast meats, and items from the griddle like Pancakes and French Toast. The main menu has tons of shareable appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and a few Louisiana inspired dishes like the Seafood Gumbo and Cajun Shrimp and Grits. For those looking for something healthier, they offer a few salad choices but I’d say go elsewhere if that’s what you want.

With a huge selection of various island inspired cocktail drinks, you’ll want to stop on by and try one for yourself. Of course, you’ll want to consider a margarita at Margaritaville, right?

They have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings and they’re always running specials on game days.

Nook Express

Whether you need a quick pick me up in between spins of the roulette wheel, or you can use a break from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor, stop on over to Nook Express for something to eat and drink.

This small cafe style restaurant has everything you need to satisfy your taste buds. They feature an assortment of coffee drinks, teas, baked goods, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, wraps, and desserts.

Nook Express also serves quick fire breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches on a croissant or English muffin, fruit bowls, and yogurt parfaits that are all great for taking with you on the go.

Quick Eats &#; Drinks &#; Coffee

In a hurry? Need something fast to refuel and don’t want to sit and be waited on? This section is all about quick, fast, and easy. Whether you’re looking for breakfast on the go, a caffeine fix, or something to satisfy your cravings throughout the day, the Flamingo has you covered.

Club Cappuccino

Club Cappuccino is the best place to grab a delicious cup of coffee or specialty coffee drink at the Flamingo. If you’re hungry, you can add a toasted bagel with cream cheese, a fresh baked pastry, or a breakfast sandwich to your order.

If you’re anything like me and millions of other Americans, you need an afternoon coffee fix. Head over to Club Cappuccino and while you’re there, grab some food if you’re hungry as they offer fresh salad and tasty sandwich options for lunch.

Club Cappuccino has everything you need to keep you going for the day.

Flamingo Food Court

There’s no place more perfect than a food court to grab something quickly and easily. With the various options it provides guests, it’s also perfect if you’re in a group and everyone is feeling something a little different. Here are all the options at the Flamingo Food Court.

Johnny Rockets

A familiar name in the American restaurant scene, Johnny Rockets at Flamingo provides guests with classic favorites like hamburgers, sandwiches, fries, and of course milkshakes and malts.

The perfect spot if you’re looking for a healthy dining option. They have fresh made sub sandwiches, wraps, grilled paninis, and salads to enjoy.

Conclusion:

The Flamingo Hotel and Casino is a historic gem located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Although the choice of restaurants isn’t vast like some of the other mega resorts, the options the Flamingo does have are fantastic.
