Oregon is no Nevada, but there are certainly a lot of places to gamble around the state.

After the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act in 1988, which codified Native American gaming, Oregon tribes began building and operating casinos where today visitors can find slots, table games, sports betting and bingo, as well as places to stay and eat while exploring the state.

Casinos can be found from Lincoln City to Coos Bay on the coast, down around Crater Lake, and across the Cascade Mountains to eastern Oregon.

Here’s what you can expect to find at the nine tribal casinos in Oregon:

The Chinook Winds Golf Resort, found just up the highway, features 18 holes over 4,547 yards. Several restaurants are inside the casino, including the Chinook’s and Rogue River lounges.
