Each review score is between 1– To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. thisisnl.nl property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. thisisnl.nl will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

United States of America2 booked 2 rooms at the same time. We got 2 rooms on different floors, one non-smoking as booked, the other was a smoking room. They would not fix this error. They offered a nebulizer, which did help quite a bit.
Location, close to the Lawrenceburg entertainment zone. Our room was clean, very hot water, standard size, small, fridge. The staff was friendly.

United States of America“Room and staff were nice and helpful being so close to casino very nice.”The room and the staff no complaints. Have been to this casino so many times, meeting family and enjoying the slots, it’s been. A favorite. The casino was the worst experience any of us have ever had. Used to winning -loosing not a problem. But the entire time the couple machines that were hitting any were taken and one person playing one and propped up chairs on 2 other ones saving for their husband friends etc. this went on all sat and Sunday. We came for fun and we enjoy top dollar. Impossible to play those machines at all. You would think since we stayed there and could go anytime that we wouldn’t be denied playing because a machine is being saved -waited up to 30 minutes at times- before their husband or whatever showed. They were texting them to come. Of course the machines they were saving were hitting -it’s like they knew that and had prior knowledge of that. The odds of this- well you figure it out. We still played other machines, but it will be a very very long time ,if ever, before we ever come back. Have been to a lot of casinos and this I hope will at least be looked at. Something wasn’t right.
There was no continental breakfast. But so happy for the refrigerator. Microwave would be nice

United States of AmericaThe wifi situation: I get better reception going to a Starbucks. The hotel really needs their own connection, with its own password. I had brought my parents to the casino, but I still had work to do online. Some type of breakfast in the hotel would have been nice. Had to drive my parents to the Doubletree Hotel downtown for decent, sit-down breakfast.
It was adjacent to the casino and it was clean.

Even trying to have the AC on heat and in the maximum temperature available it would not go warmer than 59°. I would also appreciate some more care on the bathroom. I saw hair and intimate hair over the bath tub and wall.
The property is beautiful. Easy access, free parking and friendly staff.
