Horseshoe Casino is a large property on the left side of Main Street as you arrive in Black Hawk. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. Its sister property in Black Hawk is Lady Luck Casino, which is connected to Horseshoe Casino by a sky bridge. Horseshoe Casino was previously known as Isle Casino.

There are about slot and video poker machines and 27 table games at Horseshoe Casino in Black Hawk. Most of the gaming is on the first floor. The exception is the poker room, which is at the top of the escalators on the second floor on the way to Lady Luck. The poker room has been rebranded as a WSOP poker room.

There is a Caesars Sportsbook counter here with kiosks nearby. The counter is next to the cashier cage. There are hotel rooms at Horseshoe Casino. It is also home to a Starbucks and three restaurants.

Horseshoe Casino

Horseshoe Casino has one of the larger table game selections in Black Hawk. There are two pits. One runs about two-thirds of the width of the casino, down its middle. The other is a smaller pit near the Main Street entrance and Lady Luck escalators. An open-air gaming terrace allows guests to sit on a bench or play slots while smoking in a semi-enclosed space.

Of the 24 live table games that we found at Horseshoe Casino in Black Hawk, a dozen are blackjack. There are two double-deck blackjack tables and ten six-deck tables. The rules are the same at both. The minimum bet was $15 for the six-deck and $25 for the double deck during our October visit. The maximum is $2, and $5,, respectively. Doubling down is permitted on two cards, both before and after splitting. Aces may be split up to four hands. The dealer hits soft Blackjack pays The double-deck games do not allow mid-shoe entry. 

Craps and crapless craps had a $15 minimum bet during our visit, and they offered 10 times odds. For both, the field pays double on Double zero roulette also had a $15 minimum bet with a $5, maximum. There are four dining options at Horseshoe Casino. The restaurants are located on the east end of the property and are accessible from the parking deck. Minors may dine since the establishments are outside of age-restricted areas.

On the hotel lobby level, Starbucks serves coffee, sandwiches, and snacks daily. Dash Café serves quick bites. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, pizza, rice bowls, and an all-day breakfast. Grab-and-go options are available. 

Open for lunch, Roxy Bistro serves soups, salads, sandwiches, short ribs, and chicken piccata. Roxy Restaurant & Bar is open for dinner Thursday through Monday. This fine-dining steakhouse features steak and seafood dishes.

All rooms at Horseshoe Casino Black Hawk include a refrigerator, coffee maker, clock, hair dryer, TV, iron/ironing board, safe, and wireless internet. Rooms are subject to a $13 resort fee per room per night. The resort fee includes two bottles of water, complimentary valet parking, covered garage parking, and boarding pass printing at the front desk. Space is available to rent for group events and meetings.

All nonsmoking rooms at Horseshoe Casino Black Hawk were renovated in Luxury rooms feature a single king or two queen beds and provide a workspace area. The king room has two chairs and a small table for additional seating. Both rooms are available with additional accessibility options. Pet-friendly rooms are also available. The Junior Suite option allows for additional seating in a larger room. Extra space and a whirlpool tub are features of the Executive Suite.
