Richmond Lodge is a modern, well-appointed facility located in a quiet residential area, only a short stroll from the centre of the picturesque town of Casino. Richmond Lodge has 18 comfortable rooms with ensuite, as well as spacious dining and relaxed living areas, and a separate activities room for the many recreational pursuits on offer.

An integrated nurse call system, which includes a motion-sensitive falls monitor, operates throughout the facility.

Richmond&#;s qualified staff have developed a leisure and lifestyle program with plenty of variety tailored to each resident&#;s particular interests and abilities.

The facility has a small bus which enables a range of outings for residents, with staff support always on hand.

Specialist Dementia Specific Care
The East Wing at Richmond Lodge provides secure facilities to suit the delivery of specialist care to those residents living with dementia.  UPA is continually accessing the latest education and programs for both residents and staff, with a focus on delivering best practice care for our residents.

A special feature of the East Wing is the enhanced sensory experience from the beautiful interactive garden that wraps around the building.

We understand that the experience of caring for someone with dementia can be incredibly isolating and it is important to know that as a carer you are not alone.  We provide forums for family members of those with dementia which always prove popular.
