You can do the same thing with auto. Problem is that unless you're using a "hot" machine, it takes forever that way, and they payout entirely too early. I went from tokens to in around ten minutes, but then the machine was out of tokens and I wasn't going to go on a base machine. None of the 10 token machines were even active for some reason either. If you aren't going to explore, then sure, go nuts with RNG in the casino for an hour and you might get what you need. I already had a weapon that was better than the default platinum, and having a whopping +3 - +5 more attack power wasn't worth the time, especially because it doesn't have any status effects either.
Don't play the slime version, just the normal slots is all you need.
The commercial says that Church isn't for perfect people, I guess that's why I'm an atheist.

how many casinos r in the game ,just this one ?
i just got all lucky 7s ,on slots got k tokens form slime mode spins lol
if there more then one i want know what other prizes are before spending them

Looking at a sticky thread in this very forum, this game follows the usual DQ pattern of having your melee atttack power being Strength + Weapon Attack. So if you’ve got 75 Strength and use a weapon with 43 Attack, your total Attack Power is
However, your melee damage is going to be in the neighborhood of (Attack / 2) - (Defense / 4).
So while going from a 43 Damage weapon to a damage weapon will “more than double” your weapon’s attack power, unless your strength is ridiculously low (or target defense ridiculously high) it will not “more than double” your damage output.

Octagonia in the second half of the game there is a monster version there with s***ty prizes prior to completing that section to recruit jade again once you get her back the casino becomes human oriented and you get better prizes.

I have the Hero and Sylvando with a 1H sword. Is the Platinum Sword one of the best in the game? Or are most (if not all) of the equipment here only good for the moment (meaning they'll get replaced sooner rather than later?)

Far from it. Its great at the point that you can get it tho, quite useful, but far from the "one of the strongest"

It feels like grinding for 'em isn't worth it.

Platinum Greatsword is worthwhile if you have 2 hours to kill in the casino.
Because it is one of the strongest swords you will get for sometime. It DOES eventually get outclassed but not very quickly compared to how early you can actually get it.
