Each review score is between 1– To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.

We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Promotional content
  • Illegal activities
  • Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Animal cruelty
  • Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
  • Any violation of our review guidelines.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

    The food on the resort wasnt the best.

    The property was clean. They had great evening entertainment. The staff was well respectful and accommodating my needs.

    “The only reason I went is because 4 couples from Brazil invited us , that’s why .”

    I ask for a ocean front view and they give me a side ocean view, they try to change my room 2 days later after my arrival and the other new building are with a bad mold smell, like they show us 3 different rooms all with mold smell, very strong, so I denied because we have allergies. I ask for a refund the difference price they said all rooms are same price, I really don’t believe all rooms have same thisisnl.nl that reason i don’t recommend people make sure before they book. The staff don’t respond email or answer the phone call before you arrive. I tried like 3 months almost every week to discuss details and they never answer or respond.

    “Despite the few hiccups we encountered, it was still an enjoyable trip”

    1. The rooms needed to be upgraded. Some amenities were outdated. 2. The main restaurant should have clear labels in at least two languages so guests can identify what the food items are. Also there should be trained staff to assist people who are vegetarians/ vegans know what options they have in addition to fruits and salads. 3. The property advertised a shuttle to go into the town which was false .

    The location, being a beachfront property. The staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. Vary food menu to include dishes from other Caribbean countries.

    Weak management. In main restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner, was with poor product selection and no logistics. Absolutely no management control in in this restaurant. Quality of prepared food was very mediocre. The should change a Head cook immediately.

    Food was ok, but could be upgraded. That is the only negative comment. All else was EXCELLENT! Would pay more for better food and variety!

    Staff so friendly! Ample amount of poolside lounges. Had problems with steps and they had room moved to ground floor. Pools never crowded. Rooms were quiet.

    Some of the facilities need to be remodeled. The restaurants/food were disappointing. Sanitation in the vicinity of the restaurants is questionable with all of the birds flying around the tables/food/plates.

    The beach and pools at Sunscape are fantastic. The staff for the most part is very welcoming and friendly.

    Service at the pool bar was REALLY slow to non existent. Also the bar tender staff was reduced at pm just when things started to get busy. Very strange

    “Hotel is in nice thisisnl.nll We have good time but not because off staff which is working there”

    Staff at reception desk it was the worst We ever seen. Every show was late. Nothing works with the app we have to use. 20 people was waiting at DeMario restaurant and they never open even app saying its open this evening. The worst organisation we ever seen. At Easter face painting 2 ladies from Explorer kids club was shouting to us thats our daughter have to play with other kids first to get face painted. Only few of staff members was realy nice. Most of them look very unhappy. Wouldn't even say hello.

    “I liked the location of the Sun Club rooms but not sold it is worth the additional cost.”

    The breakfast was average with no real variety offered day-to-day. The buffet lunch/dinner was also average.

    The resort facilities were very good. The fitness center was well equiped but cramped. Ample restaurants and bars. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The seafood restaurant was the best choice for dinner.

    5 restaurants on the resort, however they were never all open at the same time and there was no schedule (even on the resort app) of when each would be open so you literally had to walk around the resort to see what was open each evening. The resort app was not updated to show restaurant closings and also listed each open for breakfast daily and only one (buffet) was open for breakfast. Service was extremely slow 90% of the time, most times receiving food before our beverages. Our reseved room type was "not available" when we arrived (which was 1 hour after designated check in time) so after waiting another hour we we upgraded to a slightly larger room however we reserved a king bed and we assigneda room with a queen bed with the option of changing rooms later in the week. One of the 2 elevators in our building (stayed on 3rd) floor was inoperable the entire week and the only working elevator was on the other side of the building. There were 3 lamps in our room for lighting and 1 of them was inoperable all week even after reporting 2 times to the resort staff.

    Location, room size, views were wonderful. Enjoyed an amazing deep tissue massage the the resort spa. Dinner at the resort seafood restaurant was actually on the beach and the food was delicious. Resort was only about 70% full so the pools and beach were not crowded and could thoroughly be enjoyed.

    The attention of the staff is definitely improvable: they rushed to charge me the full stay at the very moment we stepped in. Once the payment was done, they didn't even worry to provide me some explanations about the facilities and services. In most venues the staff is quite rude and in a hurry; you feel treated as a in a highway cafe. The food is quite basic, but I guess that's the quality/price ratio you get.A quite painful point was the position of our room: it was close to a beach club playing very loud music until 1am. Luckily it was only on Sunday and Wednesday but I think just because of the season. I reported the problem to the reception but they refused to change my room. Quite disappointing.

    Great private beach, with very nice waters where you could do some good snorkeling. The room was nice and clean, quite big and equipped well.

    “Our overall stay was very pleasant.”

    The plumbing in room was noisy!!! The toilet made a high pitched sound after flushing.

    Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were kind and polite. I facilities were clean and very nice. The 2 young ladies that handle the departure COVID testing were excellent. They went far above to get our issue revolved and to get us home. They deserve a bonus and or a raise in salary. They were wonderful.
