$M in renovations to 3 Atlantic City hotel-casinos to include new rooms, restaurants

Three Atlantic City hotel-casinos will undergo about $ million in renovations over the next three years that will deliver new rooms as well as expanded dining and casino options, Caesars Entertainment said Wednesday.

Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Tropicana Atlantic City will get the makeovers with the first phase — a $ million renovation of rooms and suites at Caesars and Harrah’s to be unveiled this summer, the company announced. The three properties — like nearly all Atlantic City properties — saw their profits take a major hit in as the coronavirus pandemic kept the hotel-casinos shuttered for months.

About rooms and suites on Caesars’ Centurion and Ocean Towers and Harrah’s Atrium Tower are getting a fresh look. The rooms range in size from to square feet apiece.

The Caesars rooms will “feature a modern Roman aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the local Atlantic City scenery, including the beach, ocean and famed Boardwalk” and have oversized showers.

Details about the improvements to the casino and additional eateries as well as the Tropicana renovations have yet to be announced.
