Diamond casino music locker

The Music Locker is an underground nightclub in East Vinewood, Los Santos, in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced in The Cayo Perico Heist update.

Description[]

The Music Locker is a new underground nightclub that has opened beneath The Diamond Casino & Resort. This club showcases a range of exclusive music acts from around the world including:
- Moodymann
- Palms Trax
- Keinemusik

The Music Locker is now open at The Diamond Casino & Resort featuring live performances from:
- Moodymann
- Palms Trax
- Keinemusik

The nightclub is located directly underneath The Diamond Casino & Resort and is immediately accessible to all players from an entry on the north side of the ground level. Owners of a Master Penthouse will be eligible for free entry to the club and exclusive access to the club's VIP Lounge, and are the only ones allowed direct entry into the club through The Diamond's internal elevator. ^[1]

Players who do not own a penthouse in the casino will be required to pay a $150 entry fee. Dressing in high-end clothing will reduce the entry fee to $25.

The layout of the club is similar to the player-owned Nightclubs. Entry is to the upper level where the reception desk is on the right. A hallway leads through a door to the bar level where players can look down to the dance floor.

All players have full access to the drinks menu at the bar but Penthouse-owning V.I.P.s can enjoy some for free.

Circular stairways lead down to the dance floor, DJ Booth and VIP Lounge. Restrooms are located behind the DJ Booth with entry to the right side. Access to the DJ Booth is restricted to players who have completed the DJ Request jobs requested by Tom Connors for whichever act is currently resident.

Player movement style on the dance floor level is automatically changed to a rhythmic shuffle. Running is not permitted anywhere inside the club.

The dancing function has been altered compared to the minigame present in player-owned clubs. Players no longer need to tap keys/buttons in rhythm but can toggle whether to need to hold down the action key/button to maintain their dance.

VIP Lounge[]

The VIP Lounge is located at the rear of the dance floor and directly beneath the ground level bar area, where those seated have a clear line of sight of the resident DJs above the heads of the crowd. Initially, the Lounge is occupied by Miguel Madrazo, Patricia Madrazo, Jackie, Kaylee, Jorge and a few unnamed NPCs. A bouncer is present to prevent entry to those not entitled. Players who do not own a Master Penthouse will usually be turned away from the VIP area by the bouncer, except for the initial introductory cutscene to meet Miguel for The Cayo Perico Heist.

DJs[]

Unlike the DJs from the After Hours update, The Music Locker DJs will often comment on the currently-played music and address the audience between sets.

DJs will perform for the duration of their set and then a small handover cutscene will play and the next DJ will start their set. Any players in the club listening at the time of the handover will be sent back to the reception area and will have to re-enter the club floor, but will not need to re-pay an entry fee.

Trivia[]

• The Music Locker and Music Locker Radio's motto "Keep it locked", has a double meaning:
  • It can mean "keep listening to this audio stream", referring to locking your analogue radio to a particular station for extended listening. ^[2]
  • To tell someone to be safe and take care.
• Moodymann's opinion of The Music Locker is that it is an excellent venue.^[3]
• For several weeks (real time) leading up to the launch of the update and the opening of the Music Locker, construction materials could be seen set up near what would become the venue's entrance, while construction sounds could be heard throughout player-owned penthouses above the casino.

You are temporarily banned from entering The Music Locker due to being thrown out.

• The player can get temporarily banned from The Music Locker by repeatedly attempting to access the back of the bar. If the player gets thrown out, they will have to wait 5 minutes for the ban to be lifted.
