Persona 5 casino not enough coins

You were supposed to wait until you secured the infiltration route. Then you'd have all the coins you'll need.

I personally wonder if you can fail that giant Slot? They say the odds were like 80% in your favor.

How is the player supposed to know they're supposed to wait? I've literally never encountered such a situation in a game before, especially not a Japanese RPG.
I wondered that too about the giant slot. I knew enough to save my game before using that at least. :) I think they say it's failable, but it probably isn't. Seems hardwired into the story (which is one reason I didn't think the casino was failable, period).
I'm happy to be done with it. All is forgiven now. :) Time to send that calling card.

So when you go to the store to buy something that costs 20 dollars, but buy something else that's 5 dollars, do you then blame the store that you don't have enough money for the original item?

I the same thing, so I played dice for 30 minutes.

Common sense, yo ^_^

For loooong RPG games a good rule of thumb is to keep 5+ savegames and overwrite the oldest rather than overwrite a single one over and over.

Couldn't you try the biggest slot? I know the odds were 80% to win but I never tried it again after winning the first time.

It took like 5 minutes of dice games. There's two specific rooms where it rolls for all 1's a couple of times and all 6's a couple of times. Easy.
